Search For Wheelchair Ramps
By Dave Kettner

There are a number of companies that come up in a Google search for ramps.  There are a number of sponsored links.  I’ve been interested in ramps and accessibility because a number of people that I know have mobility issues.

Discount-Wheelchair-Ramps.com has a lot of different kinds of ramps available for sale through their website.  I chose to look at portable

Colonoscopy repeats greater with non-specialists

wheelchair ramps and found several that were on sale.  They sell something named a PORTA-RAMP.  These are basically portable ramps for loading a scooter or a wheelchair.

Braun Mobility was another sponsored link in my search for ramps.  I’m not quite sure why they came up, but they sell some wonderful lifts to install on just about anything to help move a wheelchair.

Portable ramps are a lot more prevalent than I had thought.  They are made in such a way that they are durable and lightweight.  Some of them even fold up, just like a suitcase, for super easy transport.  These would be great things to keep in the trunk of your car.

Ramp Solutions is an internet company that offers free shipping with purchase of ramps on their website.  They have folding ramps, track ramps and rollup ramps.  The ramps that are on sale right now are their Double Fold Literamp, their Hitchmount Ramp and their Rubber Threshold Ramp.

Scooterville has a very colorful website.  They were another sponsored link in my search for ramps.  Their threshold ramps are available in lengths ranging from eight inches to two feet.  The multi-fold portable ramps that they sell can come in lengths as long as ten feet.

Another interesting idea that surfaced in my search for ramps is renting.  I had actually never thought of renting something like that.  I thought that the only way you could get ramps was to buy them or build them.  Renting is a great way to solve temporary mobility issues.
